Magazine
Magazine is an exciting new development for Joomla!. It is a Joomla! online publishing system able to handle a vast range of site types, from a blog, to a lifestyle site, through to a traditional online magazine or periodical.
The example publication, Best of the Bookshelf, demonstrates a traditional format using Issues, Sections and Articles. Other formats are possible using or not using Issues and Sections and is best described visually in our Overal Concepts documentation article.
The articles Ice Station, Area 7, Scarecrow and Hell Island demonstrate a related set of articles.
This demo site demonstrates the basic capabilities of Magazine using, where possible, only the default layouts. More creativity can be applied to site with additional customization as shown in the following sites:
